Parker & Partners Celebrates 20 Years of Creativity

ABSECON, NJ – March 6, 2007 – Parker & Partners Marketing Resources, LLC has come a long way since its humble beginning at the home office of founder Bill Parker. Now 20 years later, through the evolution of desktop publishing, cell phones, digital cameras and the Internet, the agency’s boundless creativity has led to a lengthy list of client success stories, making Parker & Partners one of the region’s premier advertising, marketing and public relations agencies.

“It has been an amazing ride, from using a facsimile machine that smells of carbon and produces a black and white copy to high-speed, full-color proofs that can be sent anywhere in world,” said Bill Parker, agency vice president and creative director. “The industry has gotten quicker but creativity still rules. If you’ve got it, you’ve got it. And we’ve got it. That’s the true key to our success.”

The Parker & Partners story began in 1987, when Bill Parker left his position as an in-house artist at Resorts Casino Hotel to open Inkworks Design Studio. For two years, Bill’s one-man studio provided innovative design and advertising concepts to clients throughout the Atlantic City gaming industry.

As the saying goes, behind every great man is a great woman. While Bill turned out killer designs, his wife Christine hit the road each morning at 7:00 a.m. selling high-end computer graphics equipment throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. When the couple welcomed a baby daughter in 1989, Christine took a giant leap of faith and left the security of her full-time job to join her husband in business.

“I don’t think we even realized what a risk we were taking,” said Christine, president of Parker & Partners. “I just thought ‘Business development is what I do, so start making phone calls.’ Twenty years later, things have turned out even better than we could have imagined.”

Since those early days, Parker & Partners has used unexpected creativity, paired with innovative solutions, to drive its success. Today a staff of ten artists, designers and account managers, together with several strategic partners, produce first-class work for clients across all industries.

Whether it is a brand image campaign for a start-up company looking to build credibility, or a public relations strategy for a large organization wanting to stay on top, Parker & Partners infuses its foundation of creativity into every program, ensuring work that gets results.

Over the years, Parker & Partners has changed to adapt with the market.
